			<title>From Algae to Energy</title>

			<description>The Duluth News Tribune ran some exciting stories related to sustainability in the region the last three days.    According to the article Student ridership soars on Duluth buses, UMD bus ridership was up 10 percent during the 2011 calendar year.&amp;nbsp; UMD bus ridership averaged nearly 70,000 riders a month.&amp;nbsp; Increasing bus ridership also helps reduce the UMD carbon footprint, as commuting emissions are considered as a part of our greenhouse gas inventory.&amp;nbsp; Thanks to the U-Pass program</description>
